Turmeric

If you have RSD, you may want to ask your doctor about taking this…I know women who are preggo are supposed to avoid…but it has been a life saver for me and i now completely avoid Advil because i can count on turmeric as a pain killer and anti-inflammatory.  Here are a few of its benefits specific to RSD/CRPS patients but click on the link for more.  I take it in capsule form.

— Is a natural liver detoxifier

— It is a potent natural anti-inflammatory that works as well as many anti-inflammatory drugs but without the side effects

— Is a natural painkiller and cox-2 inhibitor.

— Has long been used in Chinese medicine as a treatment for depression.

— Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, it is a natural treatment for arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

— Speeds up wound healing and assists in remodeling of damaged skin
